Sophie Darsy

With a Master’s degree in Communications and over 8 years’ experience in content creation, Sophie uses her expertise in storytelling to design e-learning and blended-learning experiences that engage, captivate and sometimes even amuse.

Convinced that to be effective, an e-learning course must never be boring, Sophie uses storytelling and visual immersion techniques to create interactive learning experiences tailored to the needs and interests of their target audience. The aim: to create a motivating environment conducive to the assimilation of knowledge and skills.

With an international background spanning France, Sweden and the United States, Sophie designs programmes adapted to diverse audiences in multicultural contexts.

A keen sailor, she ‘landed’ at Progress Consulting in 2020, sailing full-time between the Azores, the Canary Islands, the West Indies and Bermuda before dropping anchor on the east coast of the United States.

Since then, Sophie has helped major international organisations modernise their training systems. In particular, she has developed and continues to run a blended-learning programme, ‘Train the Trainer’, designed to train and support technical experts with no prior knowledge of course creation to design and publish their own e-learning programmes. This programme enables them to become autonomous in the production of educational content tailored to the needs of their teams.

Sophie also puts her skills at the service of her customers through the ‘Presenting with Impact’ training course. Both online and face-to-face, she helps participants to structure their messages effectively, design polished visual aids and transform sometimes monotonous presentations into memorable experiences (for the right reasons).

Now based between the American and European continents, she runs online and face-to-face training courses for audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.
